KabirDNS Privacy Notice
KabirDNS processes personal data to operate account access, device-linked DNS service, subscription billing, security controls, support, and privacy request handling.
What KabirDNS collects
- Account information such as email address, password hash, full name if provided, account status, and internal service identifiers.
- Device information such as generated DNS hostname, device nickname, selected profile, verification state, and limited device security telemetry.
- Subscription and payment metadata such as plan, billing cycle, processor identifiers, receipts, and renewal or refund status.
- DNS usage analytics where the selected profile and plan permit analytics, including query counts, daily totals, and trend summaries.
- Security and abuse-prevention logs such as OTP challenges, admin audit events, and limited verification logs.
How KabirDNS uses personal data
- To authenticate users and devices and deliver DNS service.
- To manage billing, subscriptions, receipts, refunds, and account upgrades or downgrades.
- To detect abuse, secure the service, investigate incidents, and maintain operational reliability.
- To respond to support, privacy, deletion, correction, and access requests.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
Retention
User-facing analytics are retained according to plan limits. Operational logs and raw analytics files are pruned on scheduled retention cycles and are not kept indefinitely unless a legal or security need requires otherwise.
Processors and overseas transfers
KabirDNS may use overseas processors or service providers for payments, email delivery, hosting, and infrastructure. KabirDNS aims to use arrangements that provide a comparable standard of data protection for transferred personal data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your account-linked personal data. You may also raise a privacy complaint.
